# Going Volleyballs vs Snake Bytes

The clearest difference is ads: Snake Bytes at none against Going Volleyballs's shown. Going Volleyballs's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Going Volleyballs sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Snake Bytes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Going Volleyballs ships an update weekly, Snake Bytes every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
