# HEPIQ vs Survey School

The clearest difference is rating: Survey School at 5.0 against HEPIQ's 1.3. Survey School also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). HEPIQ's advantage is ratings volume (5.8K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Survey School holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HEPIQ has 5.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

HEPIQ ships an update every 2 weeks, Survey School every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
