# HEPIQ vs Microtech

The clearest difference is rating: Microtech at 5.0 against HEPIQ's 1.3. Microtech also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). HEPIQ's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ratings volume (5.3K vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Microtech sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. HEPIQ asks for nothing beyond the download.

Microtech holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HEPIQ has 5.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
