# FOD SHORT vs VoteDay

The clearest difference is ads: VoteDay at none against FOD SHORT's shown. FOD SHORT's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (15 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FOD SHORT sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 7 days and VoteDay sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FOD SHORT ships an update monthly, VoteDay every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
