# Astra Trainer vs Daff Moon

The clearest difference is ads: Astra Trainer at none against Daff Moon's shown. Astra Trainer also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 19) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). Daff Moon's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 74%) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Astra Trainer sells 30 in-app purchases, starting at $29.90 per month and Daff Moon sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Astra Trainer against 4.9 for Daff Moon. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Astra Trainer has 2K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 74% of Astra Trainer's written reviews are positive against 100% of Daff Moon's.

Astra Trainer ships an update every 3 days, Daff Moon every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
