# Tracklib vs KandiTrax

The clearest difference is rating: KandiTrax at 5.0 against Tracklib's 4.2. KandiTrax also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 22) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Tracklib's advantage is ratings volume (325 vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tracklib sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. KandiTrax asks for nothing beyond the download.

KandiTrax holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tracklib has 325 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tracklib ships an update every 2 weeks, KandiTrax every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 10, 2026 respectively.
