# MindPass vs BRÆK

The clearest difference is update cadence: MindPass at every 3 days against BRÆK's every 2 months. MindPass also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MindPass sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and BRÆK sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MindPass ships an update every 3 days, BRÆK every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
