# Gentle Timer vs Due Something

The clearest difference is rating: Due Something at 5.0 against Gentle Timer's 4.6. Gentle Timer's advantage is ratings volume (391 vs 1) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gentle Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Due Something sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Due Something holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gentle Timer has 391 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Gentle Timer ships an update every 2 days, Due Something every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
