# Flight Tracker ++ vs Off 2

The clearest difference is monetization model: Off 2 at free with in-app purchases against Flight Tracker ++'s subscription. Off 2 also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). Flight Tracker ++'s advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flight Tracker ++ sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Off 2 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flight Tracker ++ ships an update every 6 weeks, Off 2 weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
