# BuzzNotes vs TwoBetter Learning

The clearest difference is monetization model: BuzzNotes at free with in-app purchases against TwoBetter Learning's subscription. BuzzNotes also leads on ratings volume (17 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 days). TwoBetter Learning's advantage is iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BuzzNotes sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and TwoBetter Learning sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for BuzzNotes against 5.0 for TwoBetter Learning. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BuzzNotes has 17 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BuzzNotes ships an update every 2 days, TwoBetter Learning every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
