# Bits AI vs Lecture Recorder

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bits AI at every 3 days against Lecture Recorder's every 11 days. Bits AI also leads on iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bits AI sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Lecture Recorder sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bits AI ships an update every 3 days, Lecture Recorder every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
