# AI Note Taker vs DMV

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DMV at 100% against AI Note Taker's 42%. DMV also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Note Taker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and DMV sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DMV holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 115 and 428 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 42% of AI Note Taker's written reviews are positive against 100% of DMV's.

AI Note Taker ships an update fortnightly, DMV every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
