# CrownChat vs Olively

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Olively at 580 against CrownChat's 5. CrownChat's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CrownChat sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Olively sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
