# Rescope vs thrifter

The clearest difference is update cadence: thrifter at every 2 days against Rescope's monthly. thrifter also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (465 vs 22). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Rescope against 4.9 for thrifter. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: thrifter has 465 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two.
