# Smart Home vs KOVIET

The clearest difference is rating: Smart Home at 4.5 against KOVIET's 2.3. Smart Home also leads on ratings volume (7.9K vs 12) and chart position (#48 vs unranked). KOVIET's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 12) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart Home sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. KOVIET asks for nothing beyond the download.

Smart Home holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart Home has 7.9K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 5% of Smart Home's written reviews are positive against 25% of KOVIET's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Smart Home ships an update fortnightly, KOVIET every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
