# Sequincer vs Sequencer Pal

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Sequencer Pal at none against Sequincer's 10. Sequencer Pal also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Sequincer's advantage is ratings volume (17 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sequincer sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Sequencer Pal asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sequencer Pal holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sequincer has 17 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sequincer ships an update fortnightly, Sequencer Pal every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
