# TuTuLock vs Timely

The clearest difference is rating: Timely at 4.8 against TuTuLock's 2.9. Timely also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 22 months) and ratings volume (137 vs 8). TuTuLock's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timely sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. TuTuLock asks for nothing beyond the download.

Timely holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timely has 137 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TuTuLock ships an update every 22 months, Timely fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
