# NoteSwift vs Minotez

The clearest difference is rating: Minotez at 5.0 against NoteSwift's 3.9. Minotez also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). NoteSwift's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NoteSwift sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Minotez sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Minotez holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NoteSwift has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of NoteSwift's written reviews are positive against 100% of Minotez's.

NoteSwift ships an update every 3 weeks, Minotez every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
