# MaxPlate vs Beyond Normal

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: MaxPlate at 15.5 against Beyond Normal's 18.2. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MaxPlate sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Beyond Normal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
