# Vacation Countdown® vs myVacationCountdown

The clearest difference is update cadence: Vacation Countdown® at every 5 days against myVacationCountdown's every 2 weeks. Vacation Countdown® also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vacation Countdown® sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and myVacationCountdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

myVacationCountdown holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vacation Countdown® has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Vacation Countdown® ships an update every 5 days, myVacationCountdown every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
