# Bubbles vs DOTHING

The clearest difference is ads: DOTHING at none against Bubbles's shown. Bubbles's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bubbles sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and DOTHING sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bubbles ships an update fortnightly, DOTHING every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
