# minspirits vs Retro Journal

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: minspirits at 15.6 against Retro Journal's 18.2. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. minspirits sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $29.49 per year and Retro Journal sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
