# DayMap vs Beacon

The clearest difference is ratings volume: DayMap at 5 against Beacon's 1. Beacon's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DayMap sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $34.99 per year and Beacon sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for DayMap against 5.0 for Beacon. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DayMap has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
