# SAAVii vs Xuman

The clearest difference is rating: SAAVii at 5.0 against Xuman's 4.2. Xuman's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (10 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SAAVii holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Xuman has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SAAVii ships an update fortnightly, Xuman every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
