# e vs Schoolatica

The clearest difference is ratings volume: e at 2.5K against Schoolatica's 4. e also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Schoolatica's advantage is rating (3.8 vs 3.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Schoolatica holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: e has 2.5K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

e ships an update every 2 days, Schoolatica weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
