# e vs E

The clearest difference is rating: e at 3.5 against E's 2.8. e also leads on ratings volume (2.5K vs 50) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 8 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

e holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: e has 2.5K ratings behind it against 50, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 20% of e's written reviews are positive against 10% of E's.

e ships an update every 2 days, E every 8 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
