# Interview Hammer vs Interview Prep

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Interview Hammer at 86% against Interview Prep's 0%. Interview Prep's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.6 vs 4.1). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Interview Hammer sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Interview Prep sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Interview Prep holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 14 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Interview Hammer's written reviews are positive against 0% of Interview Prep's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
