# OKVPN vs Privify

The clearest difference is rating: OKVPN at 4.0 against Privify's 2.3. OKVPN also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Privify's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 33%) and in-app purchases (none vs 4). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OKVPN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Privify asks for nothing beyond the download.

OKVPN holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of OKVPN's written reviews are positive against 75% of Privify's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OKVPN ships an update every 2 weeks, Privify every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
