# DramaHive vs LeapReels

The clearest difference is rating: LeapReels at 2.2 against DramaHive's 1.4. LeapReels also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). DramaHive's advantage is review sentiment (11% vs 0%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DramaHive sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $9.90 per 7 days and LeapReels sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LeapReels holds the better App Store score, 2.2 against 1.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 25 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of DramaHive's written reviews are positive against 0% of LeapReels's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DramaHive ships an update every 3 weeks, LeapReels fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
