# Swarmkeeper vs XXTRA Seat

The clearest difference is rating: Swarmkeeper at 5.0 against XXTRA Seat's 4.1. XXTRA Seat's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Swarmkeeper sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and XXTRA Seat sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Swarmkeeper holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: XXTRA Seat has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Swarmkeeper ships an update every 3 weeks, XXTRA Seat weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
