# Tasks vs Tasker Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tasker Pro at every 11 days against Tasks's every 3 months. Tasker Pro also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.1). Tasks's advantage is device support. On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Tasks ships an update every 3 months, Tasker Pro every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
