# Confide vs Ashmedia

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ashmedia at 100% against Confide's 33%. Ashmedia also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). Confide's advantage is ratings volume (8.2K vs 8) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 4 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Confide sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Ashmedia sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ashmedia holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Confide has 8.2K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of Confide's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ashmedia's.

Confide ships an update every 6 days, Ashmedia every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
