# Haread vs Nova Short

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Nova Short at 100% against Haread's 37%. Nova Short also leads on rating (4.8 vs 3.8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Haread's advantage is ratings volume (51 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Haread sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Nova Short sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $69.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nova Short holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Haread has 51 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
