# Word Connect vs Scrollpop

The clearest difference is ads: Word Connect at none against Scrollpop's shown. Word Connect also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Scrollpop's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 7 months) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Word Connect sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Scrollpop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Word Connect ships an update every 7 months, Scrollpop every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
