# Codex! vs Jackpot Hoard

The clearest difference is ads: Codex! at none against Jackpot Hoard's shown. Codex! also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Jackpot Hoard's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 10) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Codex! against 5.0 for Jackpot Hoard. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jackpot Hoard has 11K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Codex!'s written reviews are positive against 98% of Jackpot Hoard's.
