# Note vs NoteFly

The clearest difference is ads: Note at none against NoteFly's shown. Note also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and NoteFly sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Note ships an update every 3 weeks, NoteFly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
