# EZDropX vs ShareXpress

The clearest difference is ads: ShareXpress at none against EZDropX's shown. EZDropX's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EZDropX sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and ShareXpress sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EZDropX holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EZDropX has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

EZDropX ships an update every 9 days, ShareXpress every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
