# Aura vs Primalyst

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Primalyst at 100% against Aura's 36%. Primalyst also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Aura's advantage is ratings volume (3.2K vs 16). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aura sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Primalyst sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Primalyst holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aura has 3.2K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 36% of Aura's written reviews are positive against 100% of Primalyst's.

Aura ships an update every 3 weeks, Primalyst every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
