# FocusMinny vs Ember

The clearest difference is update cadence: FocusMinny at every 2 days against Ember's every 2 months. FocusMinny also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FocusMinny sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Ember sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FocusMinny ships an update every 2 days, Ember every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
