# Maxwell EV vs Git Blog

The clearest difference is update cadence: Git Blog at every 2 months against Maxwell EV's every 18 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Maxwell EV sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Git Blog sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Maxwell EV ships an update every 18 months, Git Blog every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 10, 2026 and July 31, 2026 respectively.
