# Preshow Theater vs Busco

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Busco at 100% against Preshow Theater's 33%. Busco also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and update cadence (monthly vs every 7 months). Preshow Theater's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Preshow Theater sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Busco asks for nothing beyond the download.

Preshow Theater holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Busco has 16 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Preshow Theater's written reviews are positive against 100% of Busco's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Preshow Theater ships an update every 7 months, Busco monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
