# SoundLeaf vs Auribook

The clearest difference is rating: Auribook at 5.0 against SoundLeaf's 4.7. Auribook also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). SoundLeaf's advantage is ratings volume (52 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SoundLeaf sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Auribook sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Auribook holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SoundLeaf has 52 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SoundLeaf ships an update fortnightly, Auribook weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
