# Digit vs 9

The clearest difference is ads: Digit at none against 9's shown. Digit also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Digit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 9 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Digit ships an update every 10 days, 9 every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
