# Tick vs I

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: I at none against Tick's 3. I also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tick sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. I asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tick ships an update every 3 weeks, I every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
