# MintCollect vs Vododex

The clearest difference is rating: Vododex at 5.0 against MintCollect's 3.9. Vododex also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 11). MintCollect's advantage is ratings volume (47 vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MintCollect sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Vododex asks for nothing beyond the download.

Vododex holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MintCollect has 47 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MintCollect ships an update weekly, Vododex fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
