# Carnyx vs Sequentia

The clearest difference is rating: Carnyx at 5.0 against Sequentia's 4.7. Sequentia's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (10 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Carnyx sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and Sequentia sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Carnyx holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sequentia has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Carnyx ships an update every 5 weeks, Sequentia every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
