# Fast vs Hob Learning

The clearest difference is rating: Hob Learning at 5.0 against Fast's 1.0. Hob Learning also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fast sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Hob Learning sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hob Learning holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hob Learning has 85 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fast ships an update every 5 months, Hob Learning weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
