# Vopen vs Nextin

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Vopen at none against Nextin's 3. Vopen also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 33%). Nextin's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (3.4 vs 3.0). On price, update cadence and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nextin sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Vopen asks for nothing beyond the download.

Nextin holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nextin has 625 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Vopen's written reviews are positive against 33% of Nextin's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Vopen ships an update weekly, Nextin fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
