# Echo vs Faith Notes

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Echo at 3.8K against Faith Notes's 6. Echo also leads on chart position (#128 vs unranked). Faith Notes's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Echo sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Faith Notes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Faith Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Echo has 3.8K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 39% of Echo's written reviews are positive against 50% of Faith Notes's.

Echo ships an update every 3 weeks, Faith Notes every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
