# Echo vs Sermon Keeper

The clearest difference is rating: Sermon Keeper at 5.0 against Echo's 4.5. Echo's advantage is ratings volume (3.8K vs 2) and chart position (#131 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Echo sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Sermon Keeper sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sermon Keeper holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Echo has 3.8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
